on a special occasion?

You cannot miss St Mary's Church!

As you are approaching Garforth our tower and spire stand proud - approximately 120 feet high and visible for miles around.

The floodlighting of the spire is a statement of our belief in God and our calling to be the light of Jesus Christ in the world. It celebrates the beauty of God’s work and draws people to his light.

The Church is funded solely by local people. We do not receive any Government or central funding to maintain this iconic building at the heart of Garforth.

Would you like to floodlight the Spire....?

....to celebrate a birthday, wedding anniversary or any special occasion, or to remember someone you have loved and lost.

We are seeking sponsors to help us with the running costs. If you would like to have the Spire floodlight on a particular evening please complete both sides of the attached profoma and return together with your donation (whatever you wish to give) to:

Please ensure we receive the request at least two weeks before the date you wish the Spire to be lit.

Please note that we do our very best to ensure the Spire is always lit on these dates, but we cannot accept responsibility for mechanical or technical interruptions.
